Join a Committee | Make A Difference

Volunteering on a committee is an excellent way to expand your network, and strengthen and build your practice.  It's also a great way to develop relationships with fellow SEFAPP members, many of whom are established local mental health clinicians.

Joining a committee doesn’t require a set commitment of time. You can participate in a variety of ways, with as little or as much time as you have available.

Feel free to contact the Chairperson listed below, or email us at office@sefapp.org for more information on how you can help.

Thank you for your interest!

The Education Committee plans the Sunday Symposium Brunch programs and administers the awarding of continuing education credits as per the regulations of both the American Psychological Association and the State of Florida.  Members assist with entering CE information into CE Broker, and organize documents for approval by reviewing organizations.

We would happily accept volunteers to help plan programs and contact local presenters for possible presentations.  Email Dr. Fenster for more information or contact our office.

Fundraising

Chair - Lisa Schulman, Ph.D.

The fundraising committee oversees our annual fundraising event called " Freud Amongst the Arts". At these events, we honor colleagues for their contribution to the field of Psychoanalysis. We also raise funds for SEFAPP and SEFIPP. These funds are used to provide continuing education for mental health professionals, professional development, and the scholarly exchange of ideas. Fundraising proceeds may also go towards various community outreach programs that have been adopted as a focus of concern by SEFAPP and SEFIPP.The event is also an opportunity to socialize and network with colleagues.

Volunteers with an interest in event planning and/or contacts in local businesses would be most welcome. Email Dr. Schulman for more information or contact our office.
