Objectives:


  1. Discuss the differences between declarative or explicit memories and procedural or implicit memories.
  2. Describe how the analyst’s inner experiences can be used to enhance the interpretive process.
  3. Discuss the pros and cons of the analyst sharing some of his/her experiences with patients.
